About
Hello, I’m Leah.
I’m a coach, a listener, and someone who has lived through a turning point of my own. This page is the long version of who I am, so you can decide, in your own time, whether I’m the right person to sit alongside you.
My story
Life rarely follows the script we wrote for it. Mine didn’t. There was a first act: the career, the plans, the version of myself I thought was permanent. Then there was the moment the ground shifted, as it does for so many of us, through illness, through loss, through change we didn’t choose.
What I learned in the slow, unglamorous work of rebuilding is that recovery and reinvention don’t happen in grand gestures. They happen in small, honest steps, taken with people who don’t need you to pretend. That is the whole foundation of how I work: no gloss, no jargon, no toxic positivity. Just a safe, human room and a next step you can actually take.
These days I live, dream, and work on Waddawurrung Country, and I spend my working hours doing the thing I care about most: helping people find their footing at the start of their own second act.
Skills & experience
Coaching & mentoring
Years of one-to-one work with people navigating career change, recovery, and life transitions, always at the pace of the person in the chair.
Leadership & facilitation
A first-act career of leading teams and holding rooms. It is the practical kind of experience that makes hard conversations feel safe rather than scary.
Lived experience
I’ve navigated my own turning point. I don’t coach from a mountaintop; I coach from the path, a few bends ahead.
Accreditations
The letters matter less than the listening, but for the record:
- Accredited Coach (details coming soon)
- Mental Health First Aid (details coming soon)
- Ongoing professional supervision, because people who hold space for others need someone holding space for them, too.
This section will grow as the site does. If you’d like to know more about my background before we chat, just ask. I’m happy to share.
